Starting April 1, 2024, the opening and closing times of Shikoku’s 88 temples will change. Additionally, the fee for Nokyo-cho (temple stamp book) inscriptions will increase.
- New Temple Hours (Effective April 1, 2024)
- 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. → 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There are exceptions in some temples.
Shosanji (#12)
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Shiromineji (#81)
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
